A placenta tincture is a long term preparation created by steeping a small piece of your raw placenta in premium Belvedere vodka. Over time, this process gently infuses the alcohol with the unique properties of your placenta, creating a concentrated and enduring preparation.

Many mothers choose to include a tincture alongside their capsules as a way of preserving their placenta for future use. While capsules are typically taken during the immediate postpartum period, a tincture can be stored and revisited months or even years later.

Long Term Support
Your tincture is often kept for times when additional support may feel beneficial, such as periods of physical or emotional depletion, the return of your menstrual cycle, significant life transitions, or later hormonal shifts including perimenopause and menopause. It becomes a personal preparation, available whenever you feel called to use it.

Exceptionally Long Shelf Life
Due to its alcohol base, your tincture has an exceptionally long shelf life of 40 years or more when stored correctly. Many families value the reassurance of having this preparation available through multiple stages of life.

Infusion and Use
Your tincture will be labelled with its start date and should be allowed to infuse for six weeks before first use.

Once ready, take 2 to 4 drops under the tongue and hold for approximately 60 seconds before swallowing. It may also be added to a beverage if preferred.

Bottle Size
Each bottle contains 100ml. Multiple bottles can be prepared if desired.

Preparation Timing
A tincture prepared from raw placenta at the time of your encapsulation is considered the most concentrated option. While a mother tincture can be created from dehydrated placenta at a later stage, many families choose to prepare theirs immediately to preserve its full integrity.
